SKATEVAN arrives with roller skates, protective gear and rental staff—all packed into one big yellow van. You bring the crowd, we get them rolling, and your organization earns 25% of ticket sales above our $600 event minimum.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Pick your place

A school gym, outdoor court or community space could be the perfect spot. Share your location and preferred date, and we’ll help assess the skating surface.

2. Rally your community

Invite families, friends and supporters to purchase tickets. Every booking above the $600 minimum helps grow your fundraiser.

3. Let the good times roll

We deliver the equipment, handle setup and manage skate rentals. Your organization provides event supervision and keeps the crowd engaged.

4. Receive your giveback

SKATEVAN retains the first $600 in ticket sales as its event fee. Your organization receives 20% of ticket sales above that amount, excluding taxes and refunds.

How it works

  • You pick the location and we come to you. Location will be the first thing we ask about, to ensure it's safe (away from vehicles) and has a smooth surface.

    We recommend at least a basketball court sized space and suitable access for the SUSO van to enter and park.

    We are currently serving events and parties in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and beyond.

  • Your fundraiser includes:

    • Roller skate rentals and protective gear.
    • Equipment delivery, setup and pack-down.
    • Rental staff to help with sizing, distribution and returns.
    • Online participant waivers.
    • Customised booking link for pre-registration
    • $20M Public Liability Insurance.

    Optional Add-ons:

    • Photographer
    • DJ
    • Skate instructor
    • SUSO socks
    • Instax camera + film

    • Your organization provides a suitable venue, promotes the event and arranges participant supervision.
    • Skate instruction is not included.
    • Speakers and music. We want you to have full creative control over the vibe.
    • Seating for your guests to lace up

    Optional but worth thinking about:

    • Lighting (if required)
    • Event security (if required)
    • Perimeter fencing (where required)
    • Site pre-clean to clear any unsafe debris from the skate surface

  • BYO food and drink. You bring the food and drinks, we'll supply a party table free of charge for some post-skate snacks and sips, ensuring your guests are well nourished.

  • Yes, advance booking is required!

    This ensures we are available and ready for the date and time that you want us there.
